I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our College Website, which offers you an informative look at the life of the college.
Claverham Community College was deemed to be an “Outstanding” school during its last Ofsted inspection. We view this status as highlighting the vital contribution which we make in the development of our young people through the values and attitudes which we embrace together with the expectations we have of them both academically and socially.
The College maintains a very high standard in public examinations and consistently achieves one of the highest percentages of pupils gaining 5 or more A*-C grades at GCSE, including English and mathematics, in East Sussex. These results and the high personal standards of our pupils do not arise by accident. We believe that the achievements of our pupils come from a distinct philosophy based on hard work, traditional values and relationships and a sense of individual worth.
Apart from its purely “school” function, the College provides a wide range of opportunities for the local community including a thriving Community Education programme, Day Nursery and Sports Centre.
I hope you will enjoy our website and would urge you to contact us if you wish to find out more about the college.
Mr. P Swatton, Principal.
